Very nice. Would like to see some not so close though.

#1 She is at a weird angle and the background is a distration
#2 Heads overs heads never look good
#3 Not a pleasing background and his right hand comes out of nowhere
#4 Bad light
#5 is the best of them but the color look off. Maybe it is mt monitor.
#6 A fun shot but not working for me.

They do seem a bit tightly cropped. On the plus side they seem to be having fun and you captured it.

thanks! yea, i do notice i tend to shoot at a tighter crop the majority of the time. Need to force myself to back off more, i guess

^ It looks like you were trying to work around a bad background. So going it tight probably helped.

A good variety for a first time, they seem pretty relaxed overall. I agree they are all very tight and some of the light is less than ideal and they could use a little bit of retouching. They feel a bit 'hard' to me. But not a bad job for a first time, IMO. :)

thanks! I think I'm harder on myself than anything. appreciate the positive feed back. I as well as i am sure everyone starts retouching photos and find myself with like 20 versions of each image unable to decide on which i prefer... guess comes with time.
