Wood Bison along Alaska Highway

For the long weekend, headed south to camp at Liard Hotsprings. Along the way there & back, saw many head of bison.

Near Liard, approx Mile 500 on the Alaska Highway, there was very little snow.

Those were in the sun.

These in the shade ... not sure they were too impressed with the camera disturbing their rest.
