Then they get a notification that you tagged them in a post and if they want to (depending on the settings of the page as well) they can tag themselves in the photo. That prevents them being tagged in loads of photos which aren't of them Oliver Curtis, 17 year old using a Canon EOS-1D Mark II N, Canon EOS 400D, Canon 100-400 L, Canon 50mm 1.8 and Samyang 14mm 2.8. olafsosh I am a nice and fluffy dude More info | Apr 15, 2013 02:52 | #19 Ratjack wrote in post #15784050 I just did a birthday party for a family members 3 year old daughter. They said they have no problem with me using the pictures on my Facebook page and/or website. My question is in regards to tagging the pictures on facebook. In the pictures that strictly have the 3 year old girl, would it be wrong and/or rude to tag people who were there at the party? These people are on my personal page friends list, however they are more of an Acquaintance since they are friends of family. So, should I tag them to get some more exposure with their friends? Should I ask first? Should I just skip tagging them? Any input on this is appreciated. I really don't want to upset anyone with this whole tagging thing. It depends on the people. I personally would not like being tagged in random pictures from the event I was in. Other people will not mind, as their profiles already consists of shared pics of cats and smart quotes. - Olafs Osh

Meaning that if someone tags me, I have to approve it before it shows. My name is Brenda ~Saved by grace, walking by faith

If it is agreed upon, then I'll tag the parents of the child only. I'll also share sneek peeks on their pages.

I thought it lost a lot of appeal with those with lots of likes. Posts are no longer going quite as viral as they used to. I still find it awkward to tag from my business page. I first need to add as friend from personal profile, get accepted, then go over to my business page and tag. Harrisburg Wedding Photographer

I'd think the families and friends would crosspost and forward images anyway, I don't really see much of a benefit in tagging. But I also don't use FB for business, it's real friends only, not even family (so I don't have to censor myself ![]() I have this set, too. My name is Brenda ~Saved by grace, walking by faith
