Another Ontarian. Cool. I was thinking of doing that very same thing this season. Even have a reference book. I can't wait to start. I'm in Canada. Isn't that weird!

keeperseeker Cream of the Crop  More info | Apr 06, 2013 14:28 | #4 Although spring and summer produce some mushrooms,,fall is by far the best time for finding mushrooms. At least in b.c. , rain and some cold weather gets them fruiting in the bush and forest areas. A couple of field books would be your friend. IDing them is also part of the fun of fungi photography. Never make a decision when you have to pee. L Cohen
