Quick shoot before deployment

So I did a quick shoot for some friends of mine this past weekend before he left on deployment. Here are a few shots all with my 85 1.8. CC is always welcome!

1.

3. This was my first attempt at using the "Brenzier Method". Lesson learned, get a little closer next time.

You want to get them into more consistent light. The dappled light across their faces is not great.

One thing to try to avoid is the spotty lights coming through the trees. It'll ruin your pictures. Try to find a spot that are free of this. Your subjects are underexposed and if you if you increase the exposure, these spot lights will blow out and will look really bad.

As for the Brenizer shot, I think it was well executed.

I agree with Tiller. That Simpsons shirt needs to :lol:

3 and 4 are very nice...1 and 2 are spoiled by the dappled light.
