how is this as a trigger and intervolumeter?

is it any better than the canon version? I can get the tc-80n3 but for almost triple the price. i have the funds...but the question is if this is as good if not better?

Thanks for any personal experiences

It will do everything the Canon one will do - except that it can do it from further away and through windows.

I bought one recently and have only taken it out twice - but it works well, easy to use. I haven't played with the interval functions at all since I'm only interested in setting a length of a bulb exposure at this stage - but happy with my decision.

Build quality feels good - though I wish the remote was bigger (similar to a TV remote) as I'm worried I will drop it.
