I am so envious! Is it rude to ask how you got that ? I have seen several "moon shots" (pics) that I can not seem to come close to in quality and using the same settings and hardware--

Thanks Jamesgang.
This was taken with a 600mm plus two x2 converters. ISO 100, 1/80th sec @ f/11, Canon 7D. I reduced brightness in PP to reduce the highlights & increased contrast to bring out detail in the shadowed areas.
