I just received an email from Canon - They have 2 new video cams available - I have been holding off a purchase on the hopes of a new cam.
I am hoping it was worth the wait.
I wonder what you guys know about these units?

just a few of my thoughts...

Looks good

Been waiting for NAB for them to announce the new cinema camera that sits between the C100 and C300. Been holding off getting the C100 till I see what it is.

Just noticed C100 prices are dropping again. Been watching them like a hawk these past few weeks and every week they go down slightly. The 0% finance offer Canon is offering isn't going down well with the stores i've spoken to.

Sorry will stop spamming your thread now as I know funk all about the ones you've posted

I do not think you are spamming the thread. You provided some good info. I too have been keeping an eye on the 100.
One week I want to run out and buy it, the next I am a cheapskake.

My real issue is I do not want to purchase a cam and see new technology come out in a month or so afterwards.

I noted that the codec details are not available yet for the 20/25. (Bitrate ain't the whole story, as I'm sure you know.)
