A Long Road Home.

Taken while on a road trip to the Pilbara a couple of weeks ago. It was 41'C just about every day, 35'C by about 9am.

This vehicle was abandoned long before the road was surfaced was likely used by gold prospectors.

Not sure if I have finished with this image yet but it is a likely contender for print and hang.

Opinions please.

It's a beauty, sir. Personally, I might brighten the clouds, or push the highlights a little there, but that's personal taste. Great image.

that's a great idea, the clouds do look a touch dark and may be what I am looking for to improve the image and keep is as real looking as possible.

Have you tried a b/w version I'd say it's crying out for that. I'd also loose some of the grey gravel on the bottom of the shot, but that's a personal thing.
