First time shooting motorsports and attempting panning shots; loved the 70-200:

Think you have done a terrific job fella, and agree the 70-200 2.8 is phenomenal - try it with the 1.4 mkIII extender, up until a few months ago (when I got the 200-400) it was the only set up I would use for racing - still my favorite for the closer circuits.

Thanks. The mode 2 stabilization really came in handy (first time I've used it). Been eyeing an extender to go along with it, but unfortunately, I don't usually shoot subjects that necessitate longer reach (e.g. birds, wildlife, motorsports). If I get back into astro, then it'll definitely go on the list!
