I bought this lens recently and hadn't yet posted the obligatory cat picture. So glad I bought this lens.

nice capture

when you see a picture like this, it should make every human embarrassed that this relative of ours is in a zoo

his expression even looks human

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

This is a really outstanding sports image. The perspective is awesome.

Start using it and the only thing you'll ponder is why it took you so long. It's a magical lens.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

I just got an excuse to finally order it...

Im a big telephoto user, It slots in lovely between my 150-600 and my 15-85...

But the "excuse" is i just got a new dog and im simply lacking a good lens to use outdoors with her, Sure my 50 prime is nice inside, but the 100L just doesnt work outside. I had the f/4L IS with my last dog and that worked great. Figured Id jump on the best this time
