This shot is one of a sequence of 8 I shot with my 70-200mm today, all at f/2.8 due to the appalling light (This shot was at ISO 4000). The lens saved the day:

I very rarely comment on B&W photo's as they really do nothing for me at all (we have been able to see in colour for quite a long time now ;) )

BUT - this one I had to comment on - just simply terrific, you can see it is a genuine 'of the moment' photo and everything about it just works.

.DAVID.

Thank you. I don't think the kit they use is that expensive. Apparently they do a 5 minute modification to their Jetskis and the water that should power the Jetski is diverted to the big hose instead. The person on the Jetboard then lies on their back and using the thrusters, pulls the jetski into deeper water and off they go. Hilarious to watch and the currently they are trying to do a 2 man lift with the gear. Sadly none of the participants is sufficiently lithe or featherweight enough to accomplish this very overambitious feat :D

One pissed off blackbird here.. a Black Crowned Night Heron was invading it's nesting area, and seeing as how the heron was 5x it's size, all the blackbird could do was to sit and brood.
