This thread is great to catch up on after a week away on holiday. Here's a couple of shots with the 5D3 + 70-200mm:

He looks like he is smiling after he finally catches the ball. Thank you Sandy! He loves catching. I'll need to get some shots of him with his frisbee. - Alfredo -

RoggieRog Hatchling 4 posts Joined Jun 2013 More info | Hello. I just purchased this lens. I plan to use it without a tripod. I'd like to ask if its wise or unwise to remove the tripod collar to cut down on weight and have a better hand grip during shooting. When I use my strap (a Black Rapids RS4), is it ok to have my strap mounted to the camera while using this lens, or am I potentially stressing the bayonet mount and should leave the tripod ring on and attach there. Thanks kindly for your help. Canon 6D; 24-105 f4 L IS; 70-200 f2.8 L IS II; B+W 010 Haze 1x MRC for each lens; Black Rapid RS4 strap

They are feral in the Orlando area: Used f/2.8 for maximum background blur, but forgot the ISO was still set at 4000 for whatever it was I was last taking pic. 1/8000sec shutter, not really needed. I think I will return to that back road, since it was mentioned at my destination along that road that the peacocks are around a lot. shinksma 5DII | T3i | EF 17-40 L | EF 24-105 L | EF 24 1.4 L II | EF 28 1.8 | EF 85 1.8 | EF 70-200 2.8 L IS II | EF 100-400 L | EF-S 15-85 IS USM | EF-S 17-55 2.8 IS USM | EF-S 10-22 USM | EF 100 2.8 Macro USM | EF-S 18-55 IS | EF 35-80 III | EF-S 55-250 IS | Rokinon 8mm FE | EF 75-300 non-USM III | SMC Takumar 50mm f/1.4 | Tamron 70-210 | 430EX II | Kenko 2x MC4 and 1.4x Pro300DGX TC
