this picture is messing with my head, i cant get it to look normal. any help would be appreciated. the original will be up soon.

It is too dark and hr skin tone is too orange. I messed a bit with it but don't know if you will like the results.

it looks a little funky on my moniter...but not too bad. im goin for black and white in the end, and im just worried about the noise, as im hopin to blow it up substantially. Thanks Maureen

I'm not sure what you were going for when you say "normal" but I played with the shadows a little and came up with this. Most of the shots I convert to B&W I know when I am taking them so I look for the type of light I want. It makes it easier and eliminates a lot of PP.

I hope this helps a little. I ran a diffused glow layer, lowered the opacity. Did some USM and then burned in the shadows to give it a little depth.

It was pretty tough for me to work with such a small file as well. There are some really great Photoshop artists hanging around. Someone is going to be able to point you in the right direction.

i know this is probly around here somewhere, but ive googled noise ninja, and ive been unable to find it for free for mac. anyone know of any noise software or plugins free for mac?

Try http://www.neatimage.c​om/mac/ (external link) . I use Neat Image for PC and have had good results with it.

thanks, that was quick and easy, and i too had good results with it for mac. definetlty recemmended.
