Male Wood Duck

Story: Went for a run on a local bike path today. Two miles in, I saw a Wood Duck floating around in a swampy area just off the trail. When I got back home, my wife and I walked back out to see if it was still around. Fortunately it was, and I spent a good 30 minutes with it, trying to get a few clear shots between all the brush. I was especially excited, because I saw a Wood Duck for the first time ever only a month or so ago, so photographing it (in good light, nonetheless) was pretty special.

Ian,
#3 is absolutely awesome.
That pose and composition really click. You popped the colors perfectly too!

I also really like #1 with the reflection.
I still wait for my chance at a wood duck.
