Your GF is adorable. I'd suggest avoiding poses where she compresses her arms or legs as in #4. Keep her limbs bent but not compressed. I like the last one best.

Yea, we both agreed the pose in #4 was awkward looking. Definitely something I'll apply for future shoots.

Thanks for the compliment btw :D

I like the vibe of #1, not a fan really of #2, #3 calendar/pin-up-ish ... but the top half of pic is best ...she looks relaxed, #4..ow, how did she get her foot pointed so far over ...looks painful, and yeah Qbx said...compressed, but her smile is so killer you could just crop that image down a lot and you'd still have a cute pic, and the last one...a very lovely lady :D Seems to me.... she's very photogenic... get those poses down and you'll have some knockout images!

Nice set. #3 is blurry from camera shake maybe.

Thanks for the feedback! Yea her pose in #3 she thought looked weird but she liked her placement of hands, smile, and overall composition of shot so much that I kept it. As for #2, what aren't you a fan of? The location? The lighting? The pose? It's funny cause we put these shots on Instagram and most people liked that shot the best lol. Thought it was hot. But then again, these are people that aren't as knowledgeable about the finer points of photography as you guys are, so I wouldn't expect the same feedback :)

Yes a little blur. I was trying to do so many things at once. Set up the off camera speedlight, make sure it would actually flash (for some reason my 430 EX II wont flash sometimes when used as a slave, not sure if this is a known problem or not). I'm also trying to get the composition and pose right, the right settings on my camera, good focus. :(

No, it is..... this is clearly just my brain at work.... street + pose + hotness triggers certain associations in my brain :) So don't mind me..... however I will say that the other thing I notice is that the image seems not straight.

That pic is so lovely... she's clearly a very good muse :) If only we all looked so good in front of the lens ;)

Your brain works good, cause when I tell you I went back and forth on the straightening of that pic. I couldn't decide if I wanted her to be straight or the street surroundings. I decided to make her straight since she's the focus of the pic. New Orleans is just like that sometimes. Weird architecture lol. I'm sure people from San Francisco can relate
