A question on furniture for an Interiors shoot

I'm working with a property management company and I'm going to shoot the interiors of a few of their apartment units.

My contact sent me these pictures he took of the furniture that would be placed in the units I'd be shooting:

Depends on what the client's needs are. Here in Alaska you cannot miss represent in photos when selling things so is the furniture what they get or just there because it is there now? If it is what they get then it is your responsibility to make it look as good as you can...IMO.

If it isn't part of the deal....you have decide if it displays the size of the room .... etc... or is it taking away from the shot.... IMO

I cant imagine the client would accept images without furniture. Spaces look much larger empty, but potential clients want to see the space as it would be populated.

Furnish the apartments with little tiny salesman's samples so the place looks enormous.

no the rooms arn't furnished. I'd usually want furniture but the ones they're providing arnt very nice

Your aim should be to shoot what your client wants. If they want to sell the apartment with crappy furniture, its there choice. Your selling photos not apartments.

A bit of staging might help things too. A table cloth, some decent pillow shams and a bit of other touches and crap furniture seems a bit less obvious.

Bring some flowers.
