I came across " AKVIS Artistic software". Basically, this software enables you to make your ordinary photograph looks like oil painting. Is there any other software available that can do the similar tricks ? Thanks !

There are many different ways of accomplishing this. If you have CS6 there is an oil painting filter. There are innumerable plugins that will do the same thing. Have you tried an internet search. I just did one and the results are long and varied. The CS6 one looks cool on some images and on others it just wrecks them. Personally I think the best way to do this is to do your own brushing with the mixer brushes assuming that you have a version of Photoshop that has them. Your details were a little thin other than you wanted a final product that looked like an oil painting.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

Those are the two I'm most familiar with. I'm sure they are lots of others but personally I'd stick with one of the more established companies.
