Nice looking spider. What kind is it?

Too bad you cut the back end off in the first pic. Looks like you had the whole thing in focus. Nice light, too.

Thanks Moose, it's some kind of wolf spider. These gravel boards are 12" tall and on the ground so I was on my belly camera on the floor trying to get focus, I used the MP-e so thats all I could fit in with the angle of the shot, maybe next time I will find one a little higher up the fence?
Maybe if I had used the 5D instead I would have fit the back end in......

nice ones killer.
yes the 5d would of been better.i much prefer FF with the mpe,as you can get some of the bigger stuff in the frame,not to mention better IQ.
