Yes it is used to make a lure but the item is something on it's own that you purchase as is.

Close enough. It is a jig head, you put a soft plastic over it with the ability to change the plastic to suit your conditions at the time.

It is 1:12 a.m. here. I will post something later in the morning. It appears many folks are still on their Christmas vacation and not using the forum right now.
