Brushes?

The black surface looks like the surface of a brush, but I have never seen any of them with a body of that shape. Just figured I would ask.

No, it should all look the same steely metal colour, with a thin shadow to the left cos it's sitting on a whitish counter.

:idea::idea: Yes it holds a very sharp blade.
It gets clamped in the more horizontally shown, slot.

It's not for wood, though.
We're at the
