The bathroom isn't an impossible place for it, but other locations are more likely.

Would it be more likely to be found in the kitchen?

Could it be contained within the volume of a typical paperback? say - 8" x 5" x 1"?

Not as far as I know.

Probably; approximately.

Is this something typically carried around? Meaning not just sitting in a drawer?

It isn't carried around or left in a drawer.

Up until that last question I was thinking the inside of a vaporizer. We just got one with a little thing in the bottom to pour Vic's liquid stuff in the bottom. That you can't hang on a wall while it's in use but I don't think I would hang it from a wall if it were empty either.

It's not a vaporizer.

It's not a container - does that mean that it's not a bag /cover of any sort?

Yes, nor is it a barrel, cup, basket, tub, basin, tank, pot, trough, bottle, jar, can, wok, bowl, box, briefcase, cabinet, or kettle.

It doesn't contain anything except its own parts.
