Yes, if it had been a paying job, I would have earned some overtime. But I never would have got the answer. My tripod doesn't have spheroidal parts or little rubber booties, and I wouldn't have guessed that another tripod did.

I thought the main body of the item was a single large spheroid. Evidently not.
