It's that roller thing that you use ... but I have no idea what it is called.

Yes you've got it, between the two of you
so is someone going to take it?

I'm not sure I really have it, actually. Is the object a packing tape gun? And if it is, I'm working the next couple days in a row (and actually using a tape gun at my job every hour or so) and can't post anything until Tuesday, so if someone wants to post something new, I'm fine with taking a pass this round, unless you all can wait.

I was thinking Dasmith232, sorry, 2 Daves, I'm overwhelmed by the complexity ;).

Yes it's a tape dispenser. I was keeping the answers applicable to the generally similar little ones for narrower tape most of us probably have at home, as well. The white part of the original pic was the plastic trilobed middle which is rather different in form from the ones you get with small dispensers.
It's one of these, with tape, but pictured from the side in the lower pic

On a 5d3 that would mena the image is 12mm high if not cropped. Is it cropped?

First thought - you tore your Covid facemask ;) but that would mean it's cropped...

The quick answer is yes. Though many people would say, "no, I wouldn't eat that." A chef would find many uses for it.

It's certainly organic.

I rotated the image, which resulted in some cropping, but it's not significantly cropped vertically. However, it's a 1:1 aspect ratio which is about 33% crop horizontal.

My mask is in good shape. I rarely go outside, there isn't much mileage on it!
