Funny... When I saw David's question, I thought "hmm, yeah, that could be velcro..." and was thinking of the two rectangular patches in the cavity.

I might have missed this. Are we looking at the bottom of the object with black and the two bits of plastic being the “foot” in contact with a surface. Sorry if I missed this question earlier.
