Keep in mind that Chet is usually making fun, so my responses to him have been a little less serious than everyone else's. To clarify, I wouldn't have the item in the bedroom, but I could imagine that some few people might. I think the item would usually be found in other rooms in the house.

The item is not an alarm clock radio
