It looks like a centipede. Is it a centipede or related to it?

It does, doesn't it.
It's not any kind of myriapod-like thing though.

By the way, which of those lenses is sharpest?

Does the animal grow to a size greater in any dimension than 3 inches (8 cm)?

An unfertailized egg could be considered both not an animal or else possibly soon to be an animal.

It doesn't look like an egg but could be some sort of a multitude of eggs, so my question is are these eggs of some sort?

It could also be a series of pearls (not jewelry grade.) Are they pearls or objects formed by the same sort of process that forms pearls?

Is the image desaturated because full color would make identification too easy?

If you threw this into the spinning blades of a snow thrower and placed your face next to the output chute, would this item disintegrate or leave a mark on your forehead?

I have no idea what it is but this comment is pure gold. Well done.

Not pearls.
Not formed the way pearls are formed.

The reaction would depend on a number of environmental and mechanical parameters, along with interpretation of the meaning of some of the words you use.
I can safely predict however, having modelled a number of scenarios through the computer, that you would get something between
1) nothing at all
2) an explosion.

Not pure gold.
Quite shiny, though.
