Was that to Pontefract

It was " xx min. ago as a reply to dbs_jd's post | ...."

All "No"s so far.

Whoa, good one! I thought it was something related to gears, but not that.

Is that a button? If it is, does it make the device to make an action, or does it turn the device on?

no

Chris

Sorry to be pedantic, but I can read your answers as not excluding something edible.
Is this object edible within the usual sense of the description (i.e. it would normally be eaten rather than something that could conceivably be swallowed!)

Sorry Ed, fate spared the world my bumbling wit by making me forget to press the return button on the answer to Pontefract.

It was something about having to be Bertie to eat it, which would doubtless mean nothing to normal people.
The thing may look like liquorice/a Pontefract cake... mad Bertie Basset... never mind.-?

No you wouldn't eat it.

Pedantic questions are totally fine.

Is this a container or part of a container?

Is this presented in it's entirety, or has it been photo-shopped to make it a challenge?

Nothing tricksy. This is a normal view.

But the background is not brushed metal. So the piece is shown in it's entirety on a photoshop background.
