It looks more like a rasp but the Monty Python reference brings up the question is this a mill bastard?

Did you answer the question OhLook asked or were your Monty Python comments actually the answer?

I thought I had, my dyslexia hid the question from me, thank you for pointing that out. No the object is not specifically kept in a workshop, but if it were it would just be someone's preference to keep it there, it could be kept in any room in the house. Pretty well anywhere.

Not a rasp, and absolutely nothing to do with Monty Python. The only reason they were mentioned was to show how obtuse some supposed clues had become.

So from now on I will try to answer the questions, no Monty P or other comments (like the game had some rules!!!).

Recap:
the object is:

  • Not a rasp
  • not a grater
  • not a gator
  • it could be kept in a workshop, but then it could be kept anywhere the user wanted
  • not a mill bastard
  • Not anything to do with Monty Python.

    No.

The objects function is to do with heat. Not dissipation (i.e. the part shown it is not a heatsink or radiator).

I do not consider it to be a tool, but the definitions of the word tool make it difficult for me to establish that this is not considered as such by some. It is handheld though.

No. More accurately you could use while milling, but it would not be to do with milling. If one means milling as in a flour mill then it would not be safe to use it when milling.

    Does it use butane?
Strike that. Is it a striker for a flint on a lighter?

It is not termed a striker but you do have the object correct, it is a lighter. It is the flint wheel on a gas lighter.

    Well done. over to you.
