Assuming it's normally found inside a house, is there a particular room where you'd expect to find it?

If this item was in a house, it most likely would be in a teenager's bedroom or rec room. Normally this item would never be found in a house at all.

Edit: For the sake of the game, it would be best to consider this item something you would never have in a house.

P.S. This answer will not help in determining the answer. Only a local would be able to figure out the relationship.

Not likely plastic even though it is possible that it is in fact plastic.

The light colored part is reflective but it is not any type of clothing.

Stationary, like a sign, or moving, such as a sticker/plate on a vehicle?

Can the item be spread out flat?
