Ok so i was messing around with some folks from work and i wanted to play around with different focal ranges from 10-200mm crop (16-320mm FF) so I came up with this little game on my facebook page. Its all for fun so get picking it'll be interesting to see what range everyone picks :)

Great idea. My eyes are not really good enough to judge the shots of 5mm and above for differences. Perhaps if they had something in the background that would make a difference.

Thanks TheLaird, yes some of them are hard to see the difference but if you look at this one the difference is very noticeable, think it depends on the face, he gets fatter the longer the range but also his receding hair seems to magically reappear lol.

The funny thing with this test is now they know what focal range they like most so if they get their portrait taken they can direct the photographer to use their prefered focal lenth :D.

The only thing is the kit lens you would need is pictures between 18-55mm crop mainly. Maybe i should have included an an 18mm crop image. Still not a bad idea so people know how there lens react to different focal lengths.
