I was told there were eagles feeding on dead fish near open water. No eagles so I shot a few ducks.

Lesser Scaup male.

Nice Ruddy pictures, its just a shame here in the UK they are culled because they are supposedly according to DEFRA, breeding with the White Faced Duck, and are basically shot on sight.

The first Ruddy? My fave is actually the second one with his bill open and preening himself. I usually don't target ducks because they usually don't do anything but float. :) I guess if a person is patient enough he can get some sort of action shot.
