Got this lens today. I took the test picture of a bottle with canon ef-s 18-55 is II kit lens and Sigma 30mm 1.4 to compare, both at F4,5. The focus point is at "drinking"

Here is Canon kit lens at F 4,5

Not much of a difference i guess. They are both sharp.
