Yes - that you have issues with children. So when you hear stories about other children you will - per implication - also have issues with them.

eRRR, I have kids. I just push the cart.

tog choses pose the school wants for yearbook
in essence the school chooses them

and thanks

wanna be a clown
use your camera phone and tweet them to all your buds
and join the circus

I'm under the impression yearbook photos were done in the fall. Spring pictures are always more casual. That's the way they are for my kids' schools.

But who pushes the cart in the store is totally irrelevant to a 13yo deciding to have a grave expression on her school photo.

If I decide on black or blue pants is totally irrelevant to a 13yo deciding to have a grave expression on her school photo.

Aunt Judys maiden name is totally irrelevant to a 13yo deciding to have a grave expression on her school photo.

The current phase of the moon is totally irrelevant to a 13yo deciding to have a grave expression on her school photo.

So why bring in who drives the carts in the store? Or dog fights?

Every time I read one of your posts, I read it in Rob Schneider's voice. It helps make this whole thread very surreal.

True! Sometimes I think it really is Rob Schneider. Wouldn't that be a kick in the pants?!?!?!?!? :D

If the photographer had said "You can't do that, this is a serious photo," and the girl had refused to take off the scarf and change her expression, I'd call it misbehavior. Instead, the photographer simply said "Are you sure?" and didn't object. It doesn't seem that he had a problem with the gag photo. If a teacher or other adult employed at the school was present and didn't intervene, it also doesn't seem that a school rule was broken. (I doubt that a school would have a rule like that written down.) So why are people who've read about the incident condemning this kid and her parents?

Good luck getting an answer to that.

That teacher that just posted would probably have written Trey Parker and Matt Stone off as the undisciplined kids that he wouldn't need, look at the undisciplined jokesters now. Blanket statements like that only do more harm than good, teacher.

But sheep are easier to herd....

My kids aren't allowed to watch South Park. Explains a lot about some of these comments.

Is South Park even on any more? I watched one episode years ago... stupid stuff.
No, my kids aren't allowed to watch such drivel (my opinion) either. But the antics on that show (and others) hardly compare to "striking a pose" on picture day.

"striking a pose"

A Madonna reference? To make a point, you shouldn't choose a reference to an individual with a poor moral compass.

=sophie's-mom;15820718]She lied.

She wasted the photographer's time.

She did it purposely to make a mockery of the "evil, corporate, mass produced" photography agency.

You may think it is acceptable. I think it is wrong...based on my standards and way of living.

That's where the opinions differ...based on each person's standards.

Oh dear lord!...help us all!

strike a pose
to position oneself in a certain posture. Bob struck a pose in front of the mirror to see how much he had bulked up. Lisa walked into the room and struck a pose, hoping she would be noticed.

You're the one who referenced Madonna... ;)
