A few of the dozen or more Hooded Mergansers that were at the pond last weekend. Taken in the perpetual bad lighting we've been having on weekends for the past several weeks...

Thank you very much Gary! #4 & 5 compared to the others, illustrates very well the difference between shooting with the 300 f2.8L alone (#4 and 5), and shooting with the 300 f2.8L + Canon 2x extender mk. III (all the others).
