It lacks context for me. The pipe in the middle doesn't look great. Try different angles

Interesting subject matter here. I think HDR would work well - maybe get down to floor level and shoot up.

The overexposed windows in the background are distracting also

I agree, this would be worth a revisit. Like QBX I would like to see a lower shot (perhaps on your stomach) shooting up and closer, giving the stove and pipe a larger than life look. Also think a gritty B&W conversion would work well on this. Lots of possibilities here, good luck.

Maybe cropping it so the distracting bit on the left is gone ....leaving about 1/3 of that left window in the shot.

I'd like to see wider take in more of the space, you teased at it well but not quiet wide enough for my liking :)

also I agree a black and white version would look better.
