Have you got any from the GT cars worth sharing, like the chesters car, or Baird in the vette or whatever. Wish I could have made it, would love to see more pics!

nice clean shots - I'm not a huge fan of the mega-tilt, but thanks for posting!
I was wondering wether to go or not & decided that a) my back wouldn't have enjoyed the full day out, and b) those new fences looked a bit too emposing.
Good to see the pit entrance area is still worth going for - I take it that it was packed?

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:
TF posting: here :-)

Nice set! Best is number 4, Mclaughlin is someone to look out for. Youngest winner of a V8SC race.

Thanks for the feedback.
What's wrong with your back? I've just recovered from a disc protrusion, wasn't a good 8 months.
The last time I went to Puke was the last time the Supercars were there, I only went Saturday and I don't think it was as packed as then.

Yeah he was very impressive, and anyone who drives for GRM is gonna go a long way

mine just won't put up with standing around for more than an hour or so - renders me severe pain for days (I think the technical term is buggered) Good to hear your's is recovered.

Quite liking the shots on your Flickr with the shadow of the fence over the track. Dark ones seem a bit more moody. The fully compressed suspension doesn't quite work for me, likewise with the previously mentioned mega-tilt.

Were there any decent spots for shooting or were you pretty much in with the massive crowd?

Thanks for the feedback,

the reason for the mega tilt for anyone interested was this, I am a member of my local camera club and monthly we submit photos for judging and there is always mention of "lead in lines", so I thought I would give it a crack trying to use the track as a kind of snake leading into the bottom right of frame and out of the top left. It appears it didn't work so well  lol

Shooting was challenging, most of the action areas views were obstructed by the fences, the fences did have camera holes but you had to have some kind of media accreditation :( so the best place to view as a spectator of the sport was not the best place to view as a photog.

Thanks
