My local camera club has arranged a presentation (Giclee Printing) at a local printing store. Since I have said I would attend I have received 4 canvas prints from a out of state vendor that I am very happy with. The out of state vendor charges $53 with postage, the local vendor charges $150 for the same thing but there is no postage.
I feel I should tell other members/friends of the other option but that would probably mean stepping on the toes of the club president who arranged the presentation. What to do?

If your club president is more concerned about you doing that, than getting the best deals for the members, then he probably isn't the right person to be leading your club.

If that was my club, the chairman (or indeed any of the committee) would be happy for that to be mentioned after the demonstration. The demo is just that, a demonstration of what is involved, and interesting for being that. If someone can then help members get the service cheaper, our club leaders would welcome that, they are all for doing the best for the membership.

Sure, tell them. Is your out of state printer in Colorado?

I think so..starts with CG. I have had excellent service from them. My first order (on a Saturday night) I did wrong. Sunday am I sent a email asking them not to print, Monday am I called asking them not to print..to late it had already been printed but they gave me a $50 discount on the next one...for my mistake. You could not ask for better service than that.

Me too, and I know others here in town who use them.
