Thanks Ted, I have to work on figuring out the action though. Any tips you want to lob out there? I'm all ears as I figure out this sport....

You want to get a bit more frontal. Side shots can be nice. The corners work extremely well as does about 20 yards facing the GK Great for D and sometimes O. Of course angled behind the goal can give the best shots which at the college level is mostly forbidden but not so HS.

thanks man. I thought about behind the goal but wasn't sure if the officials would object and didn't have an opportunity to speak with them prior. next time, for sure. I actually don't like the side stuff much and agree on front on approaches (more my style if you look at my soccer stuff) BUT, I found that at this lower level, the action mostly seems to happen near midfield so I moved up the line for that reason. maybe I just need to be more patient as I am with other sports. I found it tough since the freakin whistle seems like it is constantly being blown for some minor infraction. Obviously, I have much to learn about shooting LAX and the game itself. Your comments help so thanks again Ted.

As the season goes on, the girls will get fewer whistles. Girls lax is a beautiful game when it is flowing like it is supposed to.

1D-III with stuff to stick on it:
70-200L, 28-70L, 24-105L, 300L, 50, 10-17 fish, 2.0x TC
Image editing OK, encouraged, and expected. Thank you for helping me learn!

thanks Ted, love that second image.

cpam, I hope that's the case (fewer whistles). Its a new sport for our school (second year) so the girls have some learning to do as well. I can see where the game would be awesome if it flowed but I also feel like there are lots of calls that get made that really don't warrant a whistle. keep it safe but let them play the game as well, at least that's my stance on it.
