The corners work extremely well as does about 20 yards facing the GK Great for D and sometimes O. Of course angled behind the goal can give the best shots which at the college level is mostly forbidden but not so HS. I thought about behind the goal but wasn't sure if the officials would object and didn't have an opportunity to speak with them prior. next time, for sure. I actually don't like the side stuff much and agree on front on approaches (more my style if you look at my soccer stuff) BUT, I found that at this lower level, the action mostly seems to happen near midfield so I moved up the line for that reason. maybe I just need to be more patient as I am with other sports. I found it tough since the freakin whistle seems like it is constantly being blown for some minor infraction. Obviously, I have much to learn about shooting LAX and the game itself. Girls lax is a beautiful game when it is flowing like it is supposed to. 1D-III with stuff to stick on it:
