Am new to Canon 20D's Digital Photo Professional 1.5.0.8 software. Have read directions to use trimming tool:Have started Trimming tool, have made crop, but hitting ok button and "Add recipe, and save as..." does not apply the crop. Have tried Forum's suggestion of doing conversion to jpg to see crop, but it doesn't seem to apply it. What am I doing wrong?

Need help fast!

Welcome to the forum!

The crop is saved in the recipe. Do a convert and save as and give the file a different name. Your original file won't change, I think that's what's confusing you. After you convert and save, close the window you are working in. In the thumbnail of the image you just worked on, you'll see crop marks in the upper right corner, but you'll still see the original size. Look for the file you converted and saved with the different filename and it will show the cropped image.

You're describing the right steps and I just did one myself and it cropped fine. Come on back if you still have problems. I can do a web demo for you if you need it.

John
