Located off US-95 between Reno and Vegas, this little town only has 150 or so residents. Despite it's population there is no market, grocery store, nor gas station. The nearest services are over 30 miles away in Hawthorne, Nevada...Link to the rest of set (external link)

Good captures of a lonely looking place! In a few years it will no doubt be a modern day ghost town. :)

I like those. It's amazing what good processing can do for otherwise mundane subjects.

Thank you! It is not that far from it now, it appeared that those who remain were old timers, hermits, or helped operate the nearby Wildkat Ranch.

I tried them in B&W and it was just to hard for me to part with the reds that are in the building and signs.

Thank you! I have always loved shooting this type of subject. Something about it's abandonment intrigues me...makes me wonder who once operated it and why it now sits abandoned. Or maybe I just like old, post-apocalyptic looks buildings :D
