Kim Wilde played in Atak, Enschede last week, and I could shoot it.

Bit of a pity was that they had a two song rule, and those pop songs aren't all that long either…
No photo-pit either, so I had to move about through the audience (which I actually prefer, provided I have the time to do it)
Also, my 1D3 had forgotten I'd set AF microadjustment on my (new, to me) 70-200IS to +10, so I had quite a few shots of in focus microphones. Luckily also some shots with acceptable focus.

Ah well.
All shots here (external link).
1) Support act was a local band called "Haystax (external link)". They play kinda hillbilly covers of well known pop songs.
Fun to hear, but a **** to shoot: 6 guys lined up and just a bit too close to each other don't give you much angles.

6) End of song #1. Time to move back.

7) Shot from farther back. She enjoyed herself, I didn't when seeing the number of shots with missed focus in this series.

8) About the end of song #2. Time to quit.

+1 for number 3. Number 4 is also great! I don't dig #7, it's a little unflattering and the cut off hand bothers me.

great set, esp considering you had a full house w/ no pit and two songs to shoot. impressive w/ the shot selection you got.

Yeah, I like #3 as well.

#7: Unflattering: Yeah, I can see what you mean. You should have seen some of the shots that got culled ;)
I gave this the benefit of the doubt, because she looked happy.
