Everyone does HS seniors, I can find plenty of those. But I've been hired to shoot some senior portraits of my soon-to-be-graduating-from-college flower girl.

I'm set on gear and lighting, but really need some help on posing. I picture college senior portraits to be more about reflection than looking to the future and who you are now like with HS seniors.

Anybody even done this kind of shoot and care to share some advice or samples?

I've photographed college aged girls before, but not because it was their last year. It's essentially the same as a hs senior session. You just go out and have fun. Change a few outfits, take some more photos. If the campus is nice or local, then shoot there. For posing ideas, there's so many. Surely you've seen the hs senior sticky threads in the people section. I actually bring samples along with me to spark creativity and ideas and share with the client.

I agree. I think they just want new senior pictures. It was a fun experience in HS and they want to do it again.

Ask the client what kind of image she is looking for.

Its essentially the same thing. Just look at the senior photos thread for lots of ideas. Basically we are talking about environmental portraits. Dissuade yourself of the idea of a deeper meaning of looking backward as opposed to looking forward. Its still a young person who needs a portrait.
