Spent a great couple of days in London and brought my 7D and 24-105 out for a play too. Not used to trying to shoot at night but found Live View mode and manual focusing and exposure worked best.
What do you think? These are straight out of the camera. Any other suggestions ref settings for future?

Found avoiding reflections quite tricky. Still great view from up there and lucky to have a fairly clear evening, definitely wouldn't be so good if murky/raining!

cheers
Az :p

Nice views from the Shard. 2 and 3 look like long exposures -- do they allow tripods?

Yeh it's pretty cool up there, you're a lot higher than anything else :)

Yes there was a chap with a tripod up there but I didn't have mine, was able to rest on the floor using my jumper to adjust angle etc... improvisation lol
