Canon has for the past 4 years at least announces a release about 30 days before it becomes available. These announcements tend to come about 3-7 days before a major event (such as PMA 2006). Since PMA starts on 26 Feb an announcement press release could be expected anytime starting on 19 Feb, given the 19th is a Sunday, the 20th would be the earliest expected release of the announcement that would be expected to occur.
