Did you go out there at 40 degrees? It looks lonely. What camera and lens did you use? Wish you could have gotten just a little more detail in, but the shot is nice. Got to love VA.

It actually was pretty decent down on the Island yesterday. That shot was from the "hip". ISO 3200 1/200 @ 70mm from a moving car window. Shot with 20D and Sigma 70-200mm EX DG 2.8

That explains it. I have tried that "in the car, please go a little slower" thing with my husband. Great capture if you were moving and the lighting was limited. I know those roads don't have shoulders to stop and take a few shots. When we were in Wyoming, I didn't have a good camera. In those scenic areas, you can go for miles and the scene won't change a bit! ;)

Out of a moving car?! You come up with something like this? I've got to go out and practise.

It always amazes me how a little PS work can save a picture and make it great.
