I was wondering if anyone has experience with shooting double exposures with DSLRs. I heard it could be done, but not sure.

5D Mark III has the ability to do it in camera. You don't even have to take the two shots consecutively. You take the shot of the person or object first, then you take the shot of whatever you want to fill in the silhouette.

Neat. And the 5D MK III would be the only one?

Only one that I can comment on directly. I'm pretty sure however that the D800 and D600 have it too.

PS = check out this link, explains it

1dx has this option too, and I think first one that came out with this was Nikon D4 (or was it D3? )

My experience in doing that with film was that there's always something that's just a tiny, irritating, bit off in the results. The guy that first conceived photoshop should get an automatic pass to Heaven! ; )

It was possible on Nikons before either one of those models.
