I keep misplacing my lens cap and end up finding it somewhere ridiculous. One time in the damn fridge. I was wondering if there's a strap out there that has a convenient lens cap holder. Hopefully on the cheap.

There are lens cap holders accessories. I have reviewed the Hufa Holder on my site. Hufa Holder also has a neck strap with the lens cap holder built-in to the strap.

I usually use Filter Pouches (external link) to keep my lens cap if they are not in my pocket.

sounds like a good idea, don't have much use for my filter pouch anymore, only a few I use anymore

NOW, WITH POCKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

you would be amazed at what has pockets these days!
shorts! jackets! shirts! coats! bathing suits! even some of my underwear have pockets... and I've noticed that some of my pants have pockets WITH pockets inside them as well!

I can't picture a scenario where I'm shooting something, and there isn't a pocket within arm's reach that I can't use for something as simple as a lens cap...

If wearing a backpack, I use this attached to a D ring on the shoulder strap.

I keep my lens hoods on, and the caps in one of my pockets.

When the lens comes out of the bag, the cap comes off and stays in the compartment the lens came out of. Yes, it really works.
