Learning Lightroom?

I just downloaded a trial of LR4 and I'm super excited to have such a great tool and at the same time I'm super confused. lol

I know LR has loads of potential and I have minimal pp skills. I'd really like to learn this program and figure out how to improve my images with it. Where or what resource would be a good starting point to learning LR? Many thanks!

Like reading better? Scott Kelby's The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 Book for Digital Photographers is a must read.

I've never tried the Kelby Training videos, though. Worth the price of admission?

You can basically learn everything about Lightroom from Youtube and by reading forums.

Corbeau - I do like reading and I've seen that book on Amazon. If I commit to a full version of LR I might pick it up just to have as a desk reference.

tombu - just watched my first yt vid on LR.

When I first got it, I just played around with it and discovered new things as I went along.

In my case I learned the most from J. Kost and D. deChemin's Vision & Voice
I don't know if there is a version for LR4 - but the book combines the 'what do I want to achieve' aspect with the technical part of LR.
