Fox Squirrel (i think)

I don't think I've posted a shot in the Wildlife section before. I was out hunting birds and came across this squirrel and had to take a few shots of him. I'd never seen one this color before, and he was HUGE.

The fox squirrels around here are regular squirrel size, and they don't have black and white faces. I don't know what kind yours is.

I IDed it based on web pages found with a Google image search. It showed squirrels with and without the white face, in a either the typical grey or in black or brown, either large or small, all referred to as Fox Squirrels. I'd never noticed one that looked like that, so I snapped a few shots.

that is one weird looking squirrel, looks like a cross between a guinea pig & squirrel. Great shot!!

Yes, I did the usual sharpen/saturate/brigh​tness/contrast adjustments (shot in RAW).
